Cakes with a Whisk- previously known as Sweet Treats By MD was started with no exact game plan. I always was the baker and creative one amongst my friends and family but I never pushed myself enough to do it full time..until the pandemic hit. I had just started a new job as a Marketing Manager but was unable to fully start because of the shutdown mandates.

My best friend Riva, who is my number one supporter, surprised me with a huge box filled with baking tools and even started my Instagram page for me.. From that point onwards everything changed. What started as a small home business has now allowed me to open up Cakes with a Whisk and have people come in and share the joy with me!
